Springboard runs mentor-guided, largely self-paced programs across data, UX design, cybersecurity, and software engineering, rather than the fully live, synchronous-classroom model some competitors use. You work through project-based curriculum on your own schedule, with one-on-one mentor calls and career coaching layered on top.
Who this format tends to fit
- People balancing a full-time job or family commitments who can't commit to fixed daily class times
- Self-directed learners who want accountability from a mentor without a rigid live-lecture schedule
Who might prefer a different format

GI Bill eligibility
As of this writing, we found no evidence that Springboard accepts GI Bill benefits directly for tuition — Springboard does offer scholarships that veterans are eligible for (as one of several qualifying groups under its Diversity in Tech scholarship), which is a discount, not GI Bill funding. If GI Bill eligibility is a deciding factor, confirm current status directly with Springboard's admissions team before enrolling, or see our General Assembly review for a program with confirmed, campus-specific GI Bill eligibility.
